Started his professional career in 1998 with the Taj Group of Hotels. Trained in the best of the mammoth hotels of the hotel group namely, The Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi, The Taj Mahal Hotel new Delhi, The Taj Mahal Palace and Towers and The Taj Lands End , Mumbai respectively. He also studied at International culinary schools like Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and Lenotre, Paris. Chef Rohit carries a total of 23 years of rich culinary experience. He is a firm believer of the fact that “Most difficult thing is to get the basic dishes right. A good chef us the one who can get the basics right” and proudly considers the same as his culinary philosophy. Having worked with Michelin Star Chef Charlie Palmer (in his restaurant Aureole, New York) and Claudia Fleming.
